In 2017, Hounds in the Hub was founded by Mary Johnson, who quit her job as a paralegal/office manager and decided against going to law school in order to become a paw-fessional and finally put her lifelong love for all things canine to use. Hounds in the Hub quickly grew simply by word of mouth as a result of Mary's steadfast dedication to her clients and their pups and her strong desire to provide the best -- and most personalized -- dog walking, dog sitting and dog training services in South Boston. While Mary is no longer a solo dog walker and her business has now grown into a larger team of dedicated employees working under her to serve not only South Boston but Dorchester and the Seaport as well, throughout the business' growth, she has been vigilant at keeping the company's individualized customer service as the hallmark of Hounds in the Hub. Today, clients have the ability to self schedule and self cancel services using a user-friendly app which GPS tracks employees and makes managing hectic schedules and staying in the loop with their furry friend’s adventures a breeze.
